Jennifer Lopez unveils Ben Affleck's 2-decade-old love letter in 'This Is Me… Now'




‘This Is Me… Now’ is Lopez’s first album in 10 years, with Ben Affleck co-writing the accompanying film


The romance between Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck reads like a romance book.

While working on her tenth studio album, This Is Me, she is now producing... Lopez, 54, has now released a teaser for the companion movie, This Is Me. Now: The Film, which her 51-year-old, award-winning husband Affleck co-wrote.



She revealed a sweet love letter that Affleck sent her when they first started dating in the teaser. It was sent more than 20 years ago.


The note, dated December 24, 2002, said, "Life's tough, but you're sweet." I appreciate the present. I hope the flowers are to your liking. You said you were never able to have enough. You have my belief.



The letter was written on a torn piece of paper, and he signed it with a simple "B."





Before calling it quits, Lopez and Affleck first dated and became engaged in the early 2000s. But in 2021, they resumed their romance, and the following year, they secretly got married.

"We succeeded. Love is lovely. Love is compassionate. It appears that love is tolerant. Twenty years patient,” the Jenny From the Block singer stated after the surprise wedding in her On The JLO newsletter.



Lopez acknowledged in an Apple Music interview with Zane Lowe that the reunion gave her the motivation to return to the studio and compose "honest" music after almost a decade had passed since her last studio album, A.K.A.
