The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that it has received full approval from the UAE government to hold the remaining 20 matches of the HBL Pakistan Super League in Abu Dhabi.
Together with the franchise owners, finalize the matters related to the organization of the event, which will be announced in due course.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chief Executive Wasim Khan said that all obstacles to holding the event in Abu Dhabi have been removed, on which we are very happy and fully ready to hold the event.
Wasim Khan said that we are grateful to the Government of the United Arab Emirates, their National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority, the Emirates Cricket Board, and the Abu Dhabi Sports Council for their cooperation in overcoming the obstacles to holding the event.
He said that all the franchise owners would be consulted for expeditious finalization of the matters related to the PCB event, the full details of which would be released in due course.
Thanks to the CB staff who worked hard despite the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays to ensure that the remaining matches of the tournament were held in June. He said that HBL Pakistan Super League is one of the best cricket leagues in the world.
