Pakistan has secured the second position in the World Cup Super League after winning the ODI series against South Africa. In the rankings, the England team also has 40 points like Pakistan, but due to better run rate, it is in the first position. Pakistan is in second place, Australia also has 40 points but is in third place due to run rate, New Zealand, Afghanistan, Bangladesh and West Indies are in fourth to 7th position with 30.30 points. The Indian team is in 8th position with 29 points and Zimbabwe and Ireland are in 9th and 10th position with 10 points each.
It may be recalled that in the third and decisive ODI match, Pakistan defeated South Africa by 28 runs to become the first Asian team to win the ODI series twice in the country of Proteas.
